Youth Of Today on This Is the Life is solid and easy to listen to. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Poison Prince. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Mr Rock N Roll is simple, dignified and effective, Amy MacDonald refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
