Them There Eyes still maintains something of a specific flourish. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Love Me or Leave Me - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Lady Sings The Blues is one of these floating songs. Just One of These Things - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I Wished on the Moon - This one is lively and fun. Good Morning Heartache on The Diva Series is solid and easy to listen to. Once God Bless the Child gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I love the melodic melody of Gimme a Pigfoot and a Bottle of Bear and to this day it makes me feel good. Fine and Mellow rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Easy Living - A classic Billie Holliday track. Simple and heartfelt closing track |title closes The Diva Series on a high note. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Diva Series.
