Baby Love gets you up and jumping. Opening track Come See About Me shows the best of Diana Ross. Stop! In The Name Of Love can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Diana Ross is all about. Back In My Arms Again - A catchy, upbeat tune. I Hear A Symphony has a fun tempo. Musically You Can’t Hurry Love is superior to other tracks in The No.1’s. You Keep Me Hangin On is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Love Is Here and Now Your Gone - Check out that bassline! I love the melodic melody of The Happening and to this day it makes me feel good. Nice and different song. Simple and heartfelt closing track |title closes The No.1’s on a high note. I like to sing along with I’m Gonna Make You Love Me (feat. The Temptations), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Someday We’ll Be Together is a bit of a show-tune. Stoned Love is probably the most interesting track on The No.1’s. Ain’t No Mountain High Enough is the more seemingly obscure song on The No.1’s that bear up best to repeated listening. Touch Me In The Morning has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. The Theme Form Mahogany is pretty funky and mellow. Love Hangover the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Although The Boss is very melodic it is far from sad. Upside Down is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. No Diana Ross song has come close to capturing my attention as I’m Comming Out did. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Charming song, great melody.
