Labyrinth (El Laberinto) - Check out that bassline! Rose, Dragon (La Rosa y el Dragon) (3:37) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Three Trials (Las Tres Pruebas) is one of the coolest songs Javier Navarrete has ever recorded. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Guerilleros (Guerrilleros) sets the tone for the entire album. Book of Blood (El Libro de Sangre) - another great track from the Pan’s Labyrinth album. Mercedes Lullaby (Nana de Mercedes) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Refuge (El Refugio) is my favorite song on Pan’s Labyrinth. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. River (El Rio) - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Tale (Un Cuento) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Deep Forest (Bosque Profundo) is the albums biggest surprise. Vals of the Mandrake (Vals de La Mandragora) - My least favorite song on this album. Funeral (El Funeral) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Mercedes (Mercedes) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Pan and the Full Moon (La Luna Llena y el Fauno) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Ofelia (Ofelia) (2:20) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Princess (Una Princesa) is a great opener for Pan’s Labyrinth. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
