Blue Boy sets the tone for the entire album. A great put together song. Within the first few notes of Home it’s perfectly clear that Jim Reeves is living this song. Am I Losing You - A strong beat. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I’m Gettin’ Better has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Jim Reeves’s strong vocals come to the fore. I loved I Know One the first time I heard it. Adios Amigos gets you up and jumping. I Love You Because is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I’m Gonna Change Everything is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. In Welcome To My World it becomes nowhere more obvious that Jim Reeves has yet to define own style. Strong, powerful vocals of Jim Reeves in Is This Me are very impressive. I Guess I’m Crazy has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. This Is It still maintains something of a specific flourish. I now have Is It Really Over as one of my personal favorites. Distant Drums - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I Won’t Forget You is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. You have to get essence of the Blue Side Of Lonesome’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Listening to Suppertime you can hear that Jim Reeves has still amazing chemistry with band members.
