Jackson sets the tone for the entire album. A fantastic track full of wonder. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Darlin’ Companion - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think If I Were A Carpenter is my favorite song on Duets. Cause I Love You is a fine track on any terms. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Help Me Make It Through The Night is a medium tempo tune. Next song The Lovin’ Gift is actually a funny song. The Pine Tree - Okay, I just talked about depth. Old Time Feeling - A classic June Carter track. This is one hell of a track. Once Brand New Dance gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. When I listen to Far Side Banks Of Jordan in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. It Takes One To Know One - To me, this is the best song on the Duets.
