Blast from the Past - another great track from the Funk your Head up album. Charming song, great melody. Musically Chorus Line Pt. 2 is superior to other tracks in Funk your Head up. Dolly and the Rat Trap is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Funk Radio is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Go 4 yourz can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Kool Keith is all about. Opening track I like your Style shows the best of Kool Keith. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Intro is probably one of Kool Keith’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Introduction to the Funk very upbeat. MC Champion is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Make it happen on Funk your Head up is solid and easy to listen to. Message from the Boss is probably the highlight of the album. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Murder and Homicide marked the continuation of Kool Keith in style evolution. When listening to Pluckin’ Cards, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Poppa Large, which shows, blatantly, how much Kool Keith has evolved as a singer. Porno Star is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. The Old School is worth the money. The P.M.R.C. ID - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Kool Keith. You ain’t real - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites.
