Gacho El Peleon is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. You have to get essence of the La Raiz’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Tio Pedrito - Macaco first major hit. Delaveraveraboom has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. La Rebelion - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Brujo Cabicho - A classic Macaco track. Tongo - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in El mono en el ojo del tigre. Mamahemp is just simply stunning. Caigan Que Caigan is one of my favorite songs by Macaco. Quiero Ser Como Tu - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I listened to the opening track Chan Chan and liked it a lot. Delaveraveraboom (David Byrne Remix) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. In Demonios it becomes nowhere more obvious that Macaco has yet to define own style.
