Beaucoup d’Amour is worth the money. Christmas Cancelled - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Macka B. Conscious Woman is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Dem Kinda Blackman is a bit of a show-tune. Do You Feel Irie? is a good listen every once in a while. Next song Effects of Slavery is actually a funny song. J’Adore le Reggae - A strong beat. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Power of the Mind is a medium tempo tune. Rasta Postman is probably one of Macka B’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think So Many Things is my favorite song on Global Messenger. The Human Touch actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Macka B’s face. Global Messenger couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Welcome the Grey.
