From the moment you listen to Badlands you’re hooked. Trip To Little Big horn - Check out that bassline! Old Man’s Vision is the funkiest number on the album. I love the melodic melody of Wounded Knee and to this day it makes me feel good. Big Foot - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Badlands. Broken Promise Land is one of the coolest songs Marty Stuart has ever recorded. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Walking Through The Prayers - To me, this is the best song on the Badlands. Three Chiefs - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Listen To The Children actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Marty Stuart’s face. I now have Bouns Track as one of my personal favorites.
