The sound of If I Could Build My Whole World Around You (united) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Somethin’ Stupid (united) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s strong vocals come to the fore. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Your Precious Love (united). Outside of the singles, my favorite song on United/You’re All I Need is Hold Me Oh My Darling (united). Two Can Have A Party (united) - Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell first major hit. Nice and different song. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Sad Wedding (united) (3:27) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Give A Little Love (united) - A nice song. Oh Now I Miss You (united) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing (you’re All I Need) - another great track from the United/You’re All I Need album. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in United/You’re All I Need. You’re All I Need To Get By (you’re All I Need) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Baby Don’tcha Worry (you’re All I Need) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I loved You Ain’t Livin’ ’till You’re Lovin’ (you’re All I Need) the first time I heard it. Give In, You Just Can’t Win (you’re All I Need) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. When Love Comes Knockin At My Heart (you’re All I Need) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Listening to Come On And See Me (you’re All I Need) you can hear that Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell has still amazing chemistry with band members. Strong, powerful vocals of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in I Can’t Help But Love You (you’re All I Need) are very impressive. That’s How It Is (since You’ve Been Gone) (you’re All I Need) good vocals. I’ll Never Stop Loving You Baby (you’re All I Need) - My least favorite song on this album. Memory Chest (you’re All I Need) is a bit of a show-tune.
