Come on Get Higher is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Some Mad Hope. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Listening to Wedding Dress you can hear that Matt Nathanson has still amazing chemistry with band members. Bulletproof Weeks stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. To the Beat of Our Noisy Hearts - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Some Mad Hope is Still. In Detroit Waves it becomes nowhere more obvious that Matt Nathanson has yet to define own style. Falling Apart is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Sooner Surrender - To me, this is the best song on the Some Mad Hope. Charming song, great melody.
