One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Chicane & Maire Brennan of Clannad / Saltwater (Original Mix) because the melody in the chorus is so good. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Enigma / Push The Limits is the more seemingly obscure song on Ethno Hits that bear up best to repeated listening. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan & Michael Brook / My Heart, My Life (Talvin Singh Remix) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. From the moment you listen to Transglobal Underground / Sky Giant you’re hooked. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Ethno Hits is Leftfield / Rino’s Prayer. Peter Gabriel & Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan / Taboo great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.This song is dynamic and dramatic. Sting & Cheb Mami / Desert Rose is so unique, as each one of the songs is. The Chemical Brothers / One Too Many Morning (4:16) - awsome. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Ethno Hits.
