Opening track From Somewhere in Thrace shows the best of Petar Ralchev. In Joke in 7/8 it becomes nowhere more obvious that Petar Ralchev has yet to define own style. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. I came to like St. Lazarus’ Day Dance. As if in a Joke is a good listen every once in a while. Valse de musette is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Within the first few notes of Like our Colleagues from Serbia it’s perfectly clear that Petar Ralchev is living this song. Serbian Kolo is perfect. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think From our Region is my favorite song on Bulgaria.
