First time I heard The Closer I Get To You was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Within the first few notes of You’ve Got A Friend it’s perfectly clear that Roberta Flack is living this song. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Feel Like Makin’ Love is my favorite song on The Best Of. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. When listening to The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Although Back Together Again is very melodic it is far from sad. You Are My Heaven is a good listen every once in a while. If Ever I See You Again is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on The Best Of is Jesse.
