THAT WOMAN GOT ME DRINKING is pretty funky and mellow. THE SONG WITH NO NAME is another favourite of mine. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think AISLING is my favorite song on The Snake. I’LL BE YOUR HANDBAG is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Shane MacGowan released so far. HER FATHER DIDN’T LIKE ME ANW. is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Snake. THE SNAKE WITH EYEES OF GARNET - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Charming song, great melody. The sound of BRING DOWN THE LAMP is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
