Granted - A nice song. Whirlwind marked the continuation of Skoidats in style evolution. Alone is probably one of Skoidats’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Skoidats. Rootsawalkin’ is the more seemingly obscure song on The Times that bear up best to repeated listening. Moonstomp’97 - A strong beat. Still Standing on The Times is solid and easy to listen to. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. I like the agression and power of Goggles & Blinders. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Yesterday. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. The Times is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Beer,beer,beer is a fine track on any terms.
