The Day Of Unity is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Garza West (Feat. Juan Gotti) - SPM first major hit. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Something About Mary (Feat. Baby Bash and Russell Lee) make listening to SPM like being in some sort of time warp. SPM Diaries (Feat. Rasheed) - A strong beat. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: In My Hood, which shows, blatantly, how much SPM has evolved as a singer. It’s such an underrated song. Real Gangsta was the first single release from the album When Devils Strike CD1. S.P. So Bastardly (Feat. Coast) one of the best in my collection. Blazin Janey (Feat. Powda) is probably the most interesting track on When Devils Strike CD1. If I Die (Feat. Coast) (4:28) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Shout Outz is the song that really did it for me. Penitentiary Flow is one of my favorite songs by SPM. Blew our minds when we first heard At Shetoro’s Crib (A Poem). The Day Of Unity is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Although When Devils Strike is very melodic it is far from sad. Carolyn’s Hook one is one of the better boring ones. Real Gangsta good vocals. Blazin Janey (Feat. Powda) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Dope House Family (Feat. Gotti, Baby Bash, Carlos, Coast, Lucky Luciano, Powda, Rasheed and More) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. I loved If I Die (Feat. Coast) the first time I heard it. Within the first few notes of SPM Diaries (Feat. Rasheed) it’s perfectly clear that SPM is living this song. Penitentiary Flow is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Garza West (Feat. Juan Gotti) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Something About Mary (Feat. Baby Bash and Russell Lee) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. S.P. So Bastardly (Feat. Coast) is the first taste of the new album. Shout Outz has a fun tempo.
