Waste Time Segue sets the tone for the entire album. Charming song, great melody. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Backward Blues is the more seemingly obscure song on The Fire Theft that bear up best to repeated listening. The Fire Theft couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Summertime. Vocals of The Fire Theft in Houses really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Waste Time is one of the more up-tempo songs on The Fire Theft. This track is clearly meant to showcase The Fire Theft’s vocal abilities. Rubber Bands is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything The Fire Theft released so far. You have to get essence of the It’s Over’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Carry You - another great track from the The Fire Theft album. Sinatra is really the reason why I recommend buying The Fire Theft.
