Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Todd is I Think You Know. It’s such an underrated song. An Elpee’s Worth Of Toons has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. A Dream Goes On Forever is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Lord Chancellor’s Nightmare Song - Okay, I just talked about depth. Drunken Blue Rooster - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. The Last Ride actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Todd Rundgren’s face. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Number 1 Lowest Common Denominator is a bit of a show-tune. Useless Begging is the more seemingly obscure song on Todd that bear up best to repeated listening. Sidewalk Cafe is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Izzat Love is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Heavy Metal Kids is a good listen every once in a while. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Don’t You Ever Learn is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Todd Rundgren ever produced. Sons Of 1984 - My least favorite song on this album.
