Opening track Sunrise Projector shows the best of Tycho. I now have Dictaphone’s Lament as one of my personal favorites. Pbs is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Tycho ever produced. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Send and Receive. A unique and uplifting song. Within the first few notes of A Circular Reeducation it’s perfectly clear that Tycho is living this song. I came to like Past Is Prologue. Cloud Generator is so unique, as each one of the songs is. The Disconnect actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Tycho’s face. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Past Is Prologue. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Sunrise Projector (Nautilis Remix) is my favorite song on Past Is Prologue.
